Inside Strictly Come Dancing professionals’ homes as they show off their moves in lockdown – The Sun
OUR favourite Strictly Come Dancing professionals have given us a sneak peek inside their homes as they showed off their moves in lockdown.
Stars including Oti Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Dianne Buswell filmed tutorials for last night's Big Night In from their living rooms for the Keep Dancing Challenge.
It gave fans the chance to find what the popular dancers' homes look like so they can see where they're spending isolation amid the coronavirus crisis.
While some chose only to reveal a very basic background, like Karen Hauer who had moved her furniture to make space, Dianne and Oti showed off their living rooms.
Dianne – who lives with former celeb dance partner Joe Suggs – showed off her spacious living room with a retro game table, treadmill and armchair with a selfie light for homemade videos.
The modern-looking apartment has a grey-theme throughout with exposed lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling.
Oti stood in front of her renovated fireplace with the Strictly glitterball proudly sitting on top.
On her left is a large display cabinet that included books, candles, ornaments and flowers.
Fellow pro Neil Jones – dressed in a Strictly dance outfit – revealed his open plan kitchen a living space with a very unusual ceiling.
He has many plants scattered throughout the apartment to add a splash of colour.
His estranged wife Katya Jones had also dressed up for the occasion in a bright orange frock.
She taught her moves in front of a piano, which sat cosily in between her dining room table and sofa.
Aljaž Škorjanec and Gorka Márquez opted for more neutral backgrounds by taking their moves outside.
Aljaž simply stood in front of a wooden fence after coming out of his patio doors, while Gorka showed off his flashy glass balcony.
Fellow pro Graziano Di Prima also had a very simplistic background that gave a good backdrop for the video.
Aljaž's wife Janette chose to film her tutorial inside their home, which has a large and comfy-looking grey sofa with orange cushions.
Anton Du Beke's home looked equally cosy with a wooden floor and flower-patterned curtains.
Giovanni Pernice revealed his studio apartment followed the recurrent grey theme with a clock made up of the word 'Love'.
The Strictly professional dancers have been posting 15-second dance tutorials on social media, on The One Show and the BBC website.
They tasked Strictly fans with learning the new dance routine at home and filming themselves for the Big Night In.
