Jeremy Clarkson silences Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant as he says 'I'm not interested' halfway through intro

JEREMY Clarkson silenced a Who Wants To Be A Millionaire contestant by saying 'I'm not interested' halfway through his intro last night.

The 60-year-old has never been one to mince his words and on Sunday's edition of the ITV quiz show, he didn't hold back while talking to Dylan Price.

After telling Dylan he looked like Madness lead singer Suggs, Jeremy said: "It does say you’re a big golfer?"

Dylan replied: “A lot more recently I’ve been playing. I’ve been playing since I was about 12, 13-years-old."

He added: “I got a set for my thirteenth birthday,” but Jeremy quickly replied: "I’m not interested. I’m not interested in golf."

He continued: "What I am interested in is that if there is a golfing question, you won’t have to ask me!”

But Dylan responded: “Jeremy, I wouldn’t bet on it. So, we’ll see.”

Dylan proceeded to do well in his game, and set his safety net at £32,000.

He then worked his way up to the £250,000 question, but didn't feel confident in an answer to risk losing £93,000.

Dylan told Jeremy: "My head’s just thinking about the fact I am about to take £125,000… I don’t have enough knowledge in my head to even spitball so I am going to take the money!"

After confirming he would be leaving with an impressive £125,000, Jeremy couldn't help but ask which answer Dylan would have gone for.

When he told him, Jeremy revealed it would have been the wrong answer so he was right not to proceed.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire airs on Sundays on ITV.
