Katya Jones falls over at feet of her ex Neil after Strictly routine is panned

Katya Jones took an awkward tumble after receiving harsh critique from the Strictly Come Dancing judges.

The professional dancer had her routine with celebrity partner Mike Bushell universally panned before running off stage to go meet Claudia Winkleman.

As she ran up the stairs she was greeted by her estranged husband Neil Jones who congratulated her, she promptly fell at his feet.

The hilarious moment saw Katya suddenly stumble and drop in shock before she quickly jumped back up.

Katya later addressed the moment reassuring everyone she was "fine" and "did it on purpose".

All the rest of the dancers and celebs were stunned by the embarrassing mishap, with presenter Claudia asking if she was okay.

"I didn’t know if that was a dance move… or you were doing a backward roly-poly," Claudia joked.

Putting a smile on her face Katya dryly uttered: "I'm great… never been better."

The judges' scores came back seconds later, with the duo receiving an extremely low mark of 18 for their Cha Cha Cha to It’s Raining Men inspired by movie Magic Mike.

The cringeworthy moment was the last thing Katya needed after judges criticised her routine with Mike as he nearly dropped her.

She took the blame insisting it was her fault, as the remarks encouraged Mike to embrace the dancing more so he could appear more skilled.

Katya was helped up by her Strictly pals, but it was an awkward moment as her ex watched on.
