Lisa Armstrong reveals new £3.8m home 'is a building site' and she's had to move into a hotel during renovation

LISA Armstrong has revealed her new £3.8million home is a "building site" after recently purchasing the property.

The Strictly Come Dancing make-up artist, 43, has even been forced to move into a hotel as renovations on her new pad take place.

Speaking on the Outspoken Beauty podcast, Lisa said: "I have literally just decided to move and buy a new house, move at the busiest time in my life.

"And my friend who is an interior designer has helped me out with the house and re-designed it. She has gone in like a bulldozer and now it is like a building site. Now I am in a hotel.

"I am only staying here for a bit. I came to the hotel so I could get some breathing space so I could find somewhere to temporarily live.

"I am just having to deal with it. Getting a room service breakfast every morning is a right result. Grilled bacon, fried eggs….living the dream."

Lisa has understandably decided to make a fresh start following her multi-million pound divorce from Ant McPartlin.

Her stunning London home is semi-detached and has an impressive five bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two cloakrooms set across three floors.

As well as plenty of bedrooms to have guests over for the night, the home comes complete with a huge reception room as well as a dine-in kitchen with an eye-catching marble-top island.

Ahead of the move, removal men were seen packing up Lisa's items from her £5million former marital home – with the star previously dumping unwanted possessions on the street for passer-bys to take.

Among them were Ant's belongings, including his Newcastle United football shirt and a Team Ant foam hand from his show Saturday Night Takeaway.

A source told The Sun at the time: "Ant had already sifted through what he wanted to keep and had gophers collect them in recent weeks."

Ant announced in January 2018 that he and Lisa were splitting after ten years of marriage.

Their divorce was finalised this year with the former couple agreeing to share their beloved labrador dog Hurley.
