Loose Women share their own post-labour pictures to show what mums really look like after giving birth
The daytime panel show, which today featured Andrea McLean, Nadia Sawalha, Janet Street-Porter and Kelly Brook, couldn’t get over how amazing the Duchess Of Cambridge looked after welcoming her third child yesterday.
The Royal emerged from the hospital with immaculate hair and make-up, while wearing a red dress and nude heels.
But the Loose ladies looked rather different after welcoming their children, as they shared intimate pictures just moments after they gave birth.
The first image featured Nadia lying in her bed with her newborn in her arms, as she gazed lovingly at her.
Speaking about how she felt when she first saw the pictures of Kate Middleton outside hospital yesterday, Nadia said: “I thought that poor woman, all she wants is a big sanitary towel and a rubber ring.”
They also showed images of Anne Diamond, Linda Robson, Saira Khan and Stacey Solomon just moments after they welcomed their children.
The group then revealed they had prepared a hamper of gifts for Kate and her newborn, including a cabbage.
According to Nadia a cabbage is meant to soothe engorged breasts if they have discomfort while someone is breast feeding.
Kelly Brook decided to demonstrate and put the leaves on her chest.
Yesterday the 36-year-old royal and her husband Prince William – who already have son Prince George, four, and two-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte – welcomed their third child into the world at 11.01am.
Kensington Palace announced: "Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a son at 1101hrs.
"The baby weighs 8lbs 7oz.
"The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.
"Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."
Both William and Catherine's families are "delighted" with the new addition to the household.
The statement concluded: "The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news."
She emerged just hours later looking incredible ahead alongside William and their news son.
