Love Island couples face final shock twist as they are forced to vote for one pair they believe should be DUMPED from villa

The two couples with the most votes from their fellow islanders will be at risk of being eliminated by the public ahead of Monday’s final.

Islanders will be challenged with choosing one couple they feel shouldn’t be in the final – with Dr Alex George and Alexandra Cane most at risk following their split.

Alex called time on his romance with Alexandra just days before the end of the series making them the only couple in the villa not in a relationship.

If all the couples decide to vote for Alex and Alexandra given they are not romantically involved, the pair they vote for will go against them in the public vote.

Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham, Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson, Josh Denzel and Kazimir Crossley and Laura Anderson and Paul Knops could prove to be this year’s Love Island finalists.

Each pair receives a text tonight which reads: "Islanders, tonight each couple will secretly vote for one couple that they think should be dumped from the island.

"You must now discuss in your couples who you are going to choose and why, before submitting your decision via text.

"You must not discuss your decision with anyone else. The couples with the most votes face being dumped from the island #thefinalcountdown"

Later in the show Megan and Wes go on an epic date on a yacht – as they join Dani and Jack in deciding they want to move in together on the outside.

Josh and Yaz are treated to a dinner date for two with a pianist, trapeze artist and candles and the couple finally tell each other they have fallen in love.

Meanwhile, Alexandra finds the day after her split from Alex tough as he tries to reach out to her but she refuses.
