Love Island's next re-coupling is TONIGHT – Tommy and Lucie could be over for good after Molly-Mae's arrival in the villa

LOVE Island 2019 is no walk in the park and islanders must graft and crack on to stay in the competition.

Being in a couple is crucial to their survival, as singletons often lose their spot on the ITV reality show if they are not paired up, so here’s a roundup of who’s partnered with who…

When is the next Love Island re-coupling?

TONIGHT (Friday June 7) will see the next re-coupling.

On this occasion the girls get to choose which boy they want to be with.

With this in mind, one boy will go home as there are six girls and seven boys.

At the moment the bookies are putting Anton Danyluk favourite to go.

Who are the Love Island 2019 couples?

Love Island 2019 had its first major shake-up after new arrivals Curtis Pritchard and Tommy Fury were given the power to choose who they wanted to couple up with, ultimately leaving two islanders without a partner.

The twosome made their choices on Tuesday, June 4, 2019, shocking ITV viewers with their decisions. The next re-coupling is set to happen at the end of the week that will set the first elimination into motion.

Lucie and Tommy

Lucie was besotted with Joe and had made her feelings known since coupling up with me, but that did not stop Tommy from picking the stunning blonde to re-couple with.

Tyson Fury's brother swiped the Cornish surfer from the delivery man the moment he got the chance, despite previously revealing his concerns about separating the duo.

Explaining his decision, the 20-year-old boxer offered: "She absolutely gorgeous and everyday I'm excited to know more about her.

"I don't quite know what it is. It's just my gut [feeling] and that's all I can go with at the minute."

Amber and Callum

Beauty therapist Amber Gill seemed highly skeptical about aircraft engineer Callum Macleod, especially when she found out about their seven-year age difference.

"So you're old then?" she asked the 28-year-old bluntly.

"But I look quite young, don't I?" he replied somewhat hopeful.

"No," the 21-year-old answered back without hesitation.

She later tried to persuade Tommy to pick her in the recoupling, but we all know how that worked out.

Amy and Curtis

Amy Hart, 26, ditched gym owner Anton, 24, for hunky ballroom professional Curtis, following hours of flirtatious chat.

AJ Pritchard's younger brother described the air hostess as "good-looking" and "very intelligent", before revealing he had chosen to recouple with her.

The new couple certainly looked like more of a match than Amy and Anton, and celebrated their union with an sweet hug.

Anton's ego must have been bruised a little, as he had previously tried to crack on with fellow islander Lucie only for her to give him the cold shoulder, before running off to tell Amy. (Ouch!)

Yewande and Michael

Scientist Yewande originally seemed unimpressed when Michael told her: "We can get on and have a bit of a laugh."

She grilled the 23-year-old firefighter over his past relationships and even accused him of lying to her, which is rarely a winner on a first date.

But they eventually bonded after he revealed  he studied bio-medical science.

"I wouldn't really usually go for him," the 27-year-old explained. "But he is surprising." Promising?

Anna and Sherif

This coupling didn't exactly go to plan – Sherif Lanre got dumped by Amber for Callum and then got together with Anna Vakili.

But things started getting even weirder when he announced that he follows her on Instagram – not that she'd noticed.

She later told him: "Obviously I'm 28 and you're 20 which is quite a big thing, but I think we get on. Let's just take each day as it comes."

However, when the first challenge came around the pair got intimate, sharing a passionate kiss before both revealing in separate interviews in The Hut that the peck was good.

This could be one to watch.

Which Love Island contestants are single?

Joe was left devastated when Tommy stole Luice from him in the first recoupling, leaving the catering company owner close to tears.

He and the bombshell surfer had shared a steamy kiss moments before the boxing professional chose to couple up with her.

But earlier in the show the 22-year-old alluded to the idea they could still share a bed together outside even if she were to be chosen in the recoupling.

All we can say is watch this space.

It is fair to say no real love was lost when Amy left Anton for Dancing with the Star’s Curtis.

After he tried to make a move on Lucie early on in the competition, Amy focused her attention on the dance champion.

Amy and Curtis got on like a house on fire, so it came as no surprise when he chose to take her from Anton.

Now, it is back to square one for Anton, who could be facing elimination.
