Love Island’s Rykard says villa ‘will get England’s World Cup news from outside’
A former Love Islander has said the stars ‘will hear about the World Cup results from contacts,’ as people who are on the outside feed them information to keep them afloat.
Rykard Jenkins, who was a contestant back in 2016, said they were told the scores from UEFA Euro 2026 games while in the villa, despite the producers of the show doing their best to keep islanders in the dark.
He revealed there are ways for islanders to get information – through secret "outside contacts" – and these will definitely be feeding them information on whether England are victorious in the tournament in Russia.
Rykard told the Daily Star Online : "Listen the islanders will know anyway [about the World Cup].
"Someone will let slip… one producer will tell them, they will let slip that England won.
"At the end of the day the show goes on but at the of the day they have signed up to no outside info."
But when asked more details, the friend of Katie Price’s squeeze Kris Boyson said: "We knew a few little bits of the Euros.
"We knew what was happening in Euro 2016, we knew that we got beat by Iceland.
"Cleaners and cooks come into the villa, someone will say something.
"We were just like ‘look how did we do?’"
Rosie Williams also revealed sometimes the bombshells, who are allowed to watch the show before they come in, will also feed information to the original islanders, having been on the outside for a little bit longer.
She said: "The bombshells come in and say things… they told us how many followers we had online.
"I got told that my ex [CBB hunk Jordan Davies ] wrote a post about me whilst I was in there but the message was lovely.
"I don’t think the producers should tell the islanders about the World Cup though.
"We go in and sign up to being in lock-down for eight weeks and why should you know what’s going on?"
