Mulan is missing from Wreck-It Ralph 2's Disney princesses picture, and fans are not happy

The sequel to Wreck-It Ralph has gotten a lot of people excited, and that anticipation increased further after a teaser picture was released online of the Disney princesses together in one scene.

But, as some Disney fans have noticed, Mulan is bizarrely nowhere to be seen.

You know, the hero who saved the whole of China.

We know that Mulan will feature in Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 and be voiced once again by Agents of SHIELD star Ming-Na Wen.

And so, despite the likes of Jasmine, Elsa, and Moana being present in the promotional image, the absence of the Chinese warrior was definitely felt.

Also, don’t tell us Mulan shouldn’t count as a Disney princess.

Merida and Ariel are also both missing from the picture, and a Disney representative has confirmed to Digital Spy that although they along with Mulan aren’t pictured in the shot, the three of them definitely appear alongside the other Disney princesses.

“I can’t wait to see it,” Ming-Na Wen told CinemaBlend earlier this year. “It’s a very funny moment between the princesses and I love Wreck-It Ralph, so I’m excited to see how it’s all incorporated.”

Directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 arrives on November 23 in the UK and two days earlier, November 21, in the US. Watch the trailer below:
