My Family cast reduced to hysterics in unseen outtakes

The My Family cast seemed to have enjoyed a laugh per minute on set of the hilarious BBC show, as never-seen-before outtakes showed them reduced to hysterics in a single moment.

The classic British sitcom, which aired for 11 series between 2000 and 2011, recently returned to its old primetime slot on BBC One and has had us all reminiscing about the good old days when Robert Lindsay’s Ben and Zoe Wanamaker’s Susan appeared in our homes every Friday.

Unearthed outtakes shared exclusively with Metro.co.uk have revealed Robert and Zoe would break out into infectious laughter while filming, and honestly, this is the content we’ve been crying out for.

The brilliant clip kicked off with Robert calling his on-screen wife ‘an old slapper’, to which a shocked Susan/Zoe responded: ‘What?’

‘I’m just getting into character,’ he offered by way of explanation.

Another snipped showed the star dressed in tight leather trousers, and, while he lay on the bed, he told Susan: ‘My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard’.

Susan instantly grimaced at this and leaned over to the side of the bed to mime throwing up – much to the delight of audiences.

Elsewhere, one scene saw Ben storming into the kitchen on an electric wheelchair and plowing straight into the fridge.

After bouncing back, he then positioned next to his wife, only to crash straight into the kitchen table.

Of course, this led to both actors quickly breaking character, and Zoe was later spotted doubled over in hysterics.

Incredible scenes.

My Family airs Fridays at 8pm on BBC One and all series are available on BBC iPlayer.
