My neighbours built a balcony over my swimming pool – now builders watch my daughter, 12, swim, rages Katherine Ryan

TV star Katherine Ryan has reported her neighbours after they built a balcony overlooking her swimming pool.

The comedian, 38, took action after they built the looming structure without planning permission.

Katherine said it was erected without due diligence and builders have been peeking over the balcony to watch her 12-year-old daughter and her school friends swimming.

"Due to my background in urban planning, I was able to report them," said Katherine, who studied city planning at university in Toronto.

"I'm not a snitch, but their prejudicing of my property actually devalues my property."

The MailOnline reported that she added: "I have 12-year-old girls in the swimming pool and then a bunch of builders like leaning over that balcony smoking.
