Will Oswald Mosley die in Peaky Blinders season 6?

Towards the end of Peaky Blinders season five, Tommy Shelby plotted to assassinate fascist MP, Oswald Mosley.

However, his carefully executed plans to assassinate Mosley at Bingley Hall were sabotaged, with Shelby’s men Barney Thomas (played by Cosmo Jarvis) and Aberama Gold (Aidan Gillen) being killed instead.

Just who sabotaged Tommy’s plans remains unknown for now and will be a huge focal point in the upcoming series.

Tommy had already been having dreams of a ‘black cat’ operating within the Shelby ranks, who will hopefully be uncovered in season six.

In the new series, fans have no doubt Mosley will be hell-bent on seeking revenge after Tommy’s failed attempt to take his life.

Speaking to The Lad Bible, Mosley star Sam Claflin teased a very “juicy” season six.

He said: “I have seen scripts and they’re very, very, very juicy.

“I know they’re keen to get up and running as soon as it’s safe. It’s something I’m very keen to get back to.”

When asked about the rivalry between Mosley and Tommy in season six, Claflin explained: “It all depends on Shelby really.

“In series five, he went from being a big fish in a small pond to being in the ocean.

“Seeing how little power he actually has in amongst the real power, against someone like Mosley, who was born into that world.

“Shelby was out of his league and it was really exciting to watch, so you can expect there to be more of the same.”

With Tommy and Mosley going head to head in the new series, some Peaky fans believe Mosley may be killed after all.

Claflin weighed in on Mosley’s fate, explaining to Lad Bible Mosley lived for a very long time.

This means if creator Steven Knight sticks to the historical timeline, Mosley will live until he was 84-years-old.

Claflin said: “The best thing about getting involved as Mosley is that we know the history of him – so I knew that I’d survive! He lived a long life, so I felt protected.”
