Piers Morgan traumatised as hes exploited for Harry and Meghan documentary

Piers Morgan has claimed he's "traumatised" after being "exploited" in the trailer for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's upcoming Netflix documentary.

The former Good Morning Britain host's voice is heard in the trailer saying: "She's becoming a royal rock star."

But the television personality, who rarely misses a chance at taking a shot at Meghan, has made it clear he's not happy at all.

The 57-year-old tweeted: "Princess Pinocchio and Prince Hypocrite use my voice to flog their ghastly new series. I'm traumatised by this exploitation."

That's not all he's said about the trailer though, after turning on his former "friend" Meghan when he accused her of "ditching" him when she married Harry.

He said of the documentary: "Imagine bleating about privacy then doing a kiss-and-tell reality series about your private lives? Then imagine preaching compassion as you trash your family again? Then imagine releasing [the] first trailer deliberately to ruin your brother’s big trip to America? Repulsive hypocrites."

Piers isn't the only one to criticise the upcoming documentary though, as it was revealed that the trailer included some misleading shots.

At one point, as the trailer promised to unveil the "full truth" surrounding "dirty" media tactics used against Harry and Meghan, a clip of paparazzi flashing their cameras is included.

However it was discovered to have actually been from a date last December at Crawley Magistrates Court where Katie Price was appearing for a drink-driving charge.

The footage cuts off before Katie can be seen, but that's not the only misleading moment.

One clip sees snappers hounding a car before it cuts to Meghan crying, however it was found that the clip of the car was actually from 2019 when Donald Trump's attorney Michael Cohen was seen leaving his home to go to prison.

However the Sussexes' team has defending the so-called "fake" clips used after it went viral on social media.

A source close to the pair told the Express that it was "standard practice" to use stock imagery in instances like this.

Another documentary source meanwhile told The Daily Telegraph that neither Harry nor Meghan have any control over what appears in the trailers.

The first part of the series drops on Netflix on December 8, with the second half following on December 15.
