Ronan Keating winces as he and Storm discuss him having a vasectomy

Ronan Keating cracked the Loose Women panel up as he physically squirmed while talking about the prospect of a vasectomy.

The Boyzone singer, 43, was joined by his wife, Storm Keating, 38, as they spoke about having their baby daughter Coco in lockdown.

The couple revealed that it was a strange time having a baby in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic as friends and family couldn’t visit, but it was also nice to have the extra time together which they wouldn’t have otherwise had.

Storm explained: ‘It was a very different experience to having Cooper, it was special in its own way, I wouldn’t say it was a negative experience at all.

‘I had this one [Ronan] at home for three or four whole months now which is really unheard of.’

Ronan joked: ‘She’s dying to get rid of me!’, while Storm added: ‘We consider ourselves really grateful to have had so much special family tome together without having to pack a suitcase and travel around the world.’

Ronan revealed that his other children have visited baby Coco but other members of the family are yet to meet her, barring Storm’s mum who managed to get to the UK from Australia before lockdown began.

Ronan and Storm share three-year-old son Cooper as well as baby Coco who was born in March, and Ronan has three older children – Ali, Missy and Jack – from his first marriage to Yvonne Connolly.

Despite both Cooper and Coco being easy babies who slept through the night from just five weeks old, the couple have said they are done with having any more children.

Speaking about Storm suggesting Ronan has ‘the snip’, the singer winced as he discussed potentially having a vasectomy in the future.

Miming scissor motions with his hand, Ronan told the panel: ‘Storm said it to me about two or three weeks after Coco was born.

‘She said “Right, well that’s it now, you’ve got to get the snip”, and I was like “What? We haven’t talked about this!”‘

The Loose Women panel pointed out his awkward body language as the topic came up, as Ronan seemed to put up a barrier with his arms.

Joking aside, he added: ‘No, that’s it. We’ve got five wonderful, healthy children and I’m really, truly blessed but I think that’s it, we’ve got to call it a day.’

Loose Women airs weekdays from 12.30 on ITV.
