Ryan Thomas's girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh speaks out after Roxanne Pallett quits Celebrity Big Brother following 'punch' row

The ex-Emmerdale actress left the house after accusing the actor of "punching her in the ribs" during a play fight last week.

After hearing the news, Lucy posted a picture on Instagram which simply read "karma."

Ryan's ex-Coronation Street co-stars also took to social media to voice their support for the actor who last night was seen on the show in tears saying his "life was in tatters."

Sally Dynevor tweeted: "We all have your back Ryan, cos we love you."

Alan Halsall said he hadn't been watching the show but that Ryan was "one of the nicest humans I know."

Simon Gregson wrote: "Two lawyers in a pub,one says we should get that dangerous game playing girl out of thee BB house or every one is in for the high jump.

"The other lawyer said Yes I Agree. The End."

Sally Ann Matthews added: "Yeah the usual course of events: Accusation levelled, demands made, demands refused, walk."

A spokesman for Roxanne told The Sun today: "Roxanne decided to leave the CBB house late last night after deliberating for two days with some sensitive issues she felt strongly about.

"She has now been reunited with her fiancé and family and thanks everyone for their support during her time in the show."

A CBB spokesperson confirmed the news in a statement and said: "Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House.

"The remaining housemates have been informed."

More than 11,000 fans complained to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom after Roxanne accused Ryan of "punching her in the ribs" during a "play fight" on the show last week.
