Sebastian Stan masks up for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier filming
Sebastian Stan has been spotted geared up as Bucky Barnes as he films for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and we love to see it.
The actor, who stars as The Winter Soldier in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was seen looking his fierce self as he suited up in a blue leather jacket.
He’s also seen sporting a prosthetic arm, first gifted to the character in Black Panther by Shuri (Letitia Wright) as he shoots for the upcoming intalment.
Sebastian, 38, was taking no chances as he donned a mask for the filming in Atlanta, Georgia, making sure that safety came first.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, which is set to air on Disney+, will follow Bucky and Falcon (Anthony Mackie) as they get used to life without their third team mate Captain America (Chris Evans) after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
Daniel Brühl has been confirmed to return as villain Zemo, while Emily VanCamp will also come back as Sharon Carter, Peggy’s daughter.
The series will be loosely based on the comics of the same name and is scheduled to be released in 2021.
Things appear to be getting back on track for the series following a string of delays due to coronavirus, which came after an earthquake strike halted filming back in January.
However, it seems it’ll be worth the wait as, according to Anthony, it’s been shot on the same scale as the Marvel blockbusters we know and love.
Speaking to Daveed Diggs for Variety, he said: ‘We’re shooting it exactly like a movie.
‘Everybody who had worked on TV before was like, “I’ve never worked on a TV show like this.”
‘The way in which we were shooting, it feels exactly like we were shooting the movie cut up into the show.
‘So instead of a two-hour movie, a six or eight-hour movie.’
We couldn’t be more ready.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is slated for release on Disney+ in 2021.
