Simon Pegg says Mission: Impossible 7 could be coming soon

Mission: Impossible – Fallout hasn’t even hit cinemas, and yet talk is already turning to a seventh movie in the action franchise.

At least, that’s according to star Simon Pegg, who has teased that they may start working on the next instalment soon.

“[The franchise] shows no signs of slowing down,” the actor told CinePop. “I imagine that at some point we’ll be doing mad things again, so, yeah… never say never.”

The new movie recently dropped a brand new action-packed trailer, which features plenty of stunts – it’s Mission: Impossible, after all!

One of the movie’s biggest moments will see Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt and Henry Cavill’s CIA agent August Walker skydive into a lightning storm above Paris.

“It took a year to figure this sequence out,” Cruise recently explained, with director Christopher McQuarrie adding: “We had to decide how much we could do that is physically possible without killing Tom.”

McQuarrie went on: “One of the requests that Tom made was that he not catch on fire,” with Pegg admitting of the stress of working with Cruise: “You don’t know if you are going to see him tomorrow.”

All in a day’s work, we suppose.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is released in UK cinemas on July 26 and US cinemas on July 27.
