Spoilers: EastEnders confirms whodunnit as Ian is left to die
EastEnders has confirmed plans for Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) to be brutally attacked and left to die in a gripping new whodunit mystery.
As previously predicted by Metro.co.uk, it’s no coincidence that Ian has more enemies than he has had debts and someone is going to be pushed too far in a winter storyline.
The dramatic plot will facilitate a temporary exit for Adam as he goes on a six month theatre tour – but when and how Ian’s attacker will be revealed remains to be seen?
We already know that Max Branning (Jake Wood) has massive beef with the Beale and with Jake set to exit the show, the character is bound to be one of the top suspects given that Ian owes him wads of cash.
There is also the possibility that Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) may discover the truth about Dennis’ death on the boat or that Dotty Cotton (Milly Zero) may finally fight back over being branded a liar after revealing what she know.
Or could it be someone closer to home? Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) has been seen threatening Ian while his mum Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) and son Peter (Dayle Hudson) are also less than impressed with him right now.
With Ian making enemies left, right and centre, we can also confirm that there are still suspects to be revealed as his actions get even more contentious over the coming weeks.
We will reveal more details on the storyline next week…
