Spoilers: Peter in Corrie dies after refusing life saving treatment?

Carla Connor (Alison King) in Coronation Street is finding it incredibly difficult watching Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) turn to drink again, knowing the alcohol could kill him at any moment.

On the other hand, the prospect of alcohol killing him doesn’t appear to be phasing Peter just yet, and with things set to get worse for him, could he really be about to die after refusing lifesaving treatment?

At home, Ken (William Roache) and Daniel (Rob Mallard) tell Peter they’ve got a proposal for him; Daniel is prepared to be his liver donor if he’s a match.

However, Peter calls at the solicitors and instructs Adam (Sam Robertson) to draw up an ‘Advance Decision to Refuse Treatment’ declaration, insisting he isn’t deserving of a transplant.

Ken implores Peter to consider Daniel’s offer and not to throw his life away. Later, at the Rovers, Carla catches Peter taking a swig from the bottle.

At her wit’s end she pleads with Peter to reconsider, but has Peter really given up? Could Carla be about to say goodbye to the love of her life?
