Towie fans are overjoyed as Courtney Green breaks up with Myles Barnett as he admits he is now 'going to therapy' after calling her a s**g
It was exclusively revealed by The Sun Online last week that the couple had split and viewers shared their happiness that they were no longer an item – a week before they will see Courtney discover Myles had cheated on her.
As they watched the aftermath of their break up unfold in tonight's show, fans took to Twitter to reveal how pleased they were that Courtney had finally ended the "toxic" relationship.
One wrote: "I’m glad Courtney realised how toxic and agreesive Miles is …. You are a strong, beautiful, woman Courtney, who deserves to be treated like a queen #TOWIE"
Another commented: "Gooooooo on Courtney u go gal"
A third shared: "Courtney green what a strong beautiful young lady you should be so proud of yourself because I am and I don’t even know you #Towie"
In tonight's episode, TV viewers saw Courtney tell Chloe Meadows, Yazmin Oukhellou and Amber Turner she had broken up with Myles.
Her ex was then seen talking to James Lock about how sad he was about the break-up.
Myles told his supportive friend: "I'm going to therapy."
Later in the episode the couple were seen in a club having their first face-to-face chat since their split, and Courtney made it clear to Myles in an emotional conversation that this was it for their relationship.
It was revealed by The Sun Online last week that the couple had called it a day after a year of dating.
An insider said: “Everyone saw them have a huge row on Towie this month over Courtney’s ‘flirting’, but the couple were on the rocks well before that.
“The on-screen row wasn’t actually the only cause of the split, there were loads of problems in the relationship way before all this happened.”
They continued: “Fans of the pair will remember they had issues long before Myles’ recent outburst, so the split doesn’t really come as that much of a shock to those who know them.”
Next week fans will see Myles break down during his first face-to-face meeting with his ex Courtney after he was accused of cheating on her.
The couple first started dating in 2016 before they began appearing on Towie.
Courtney decided to ask Myles out officially when they started on the show in 2017 – by presenting him with a Teddy Bear with the words ‘Be Mine’ on it over dinner.
It wasn’t long until cracks started to show though and Myles branded Courtney a “psycho” over the way she was acting.
They briefly split in 2017 when Courtney admitted she had been texting her ex-boyfriend.
After two weeks of no contact at all, they reconciled and seemed to be back on track, even talking about moving in together.
Earlier this month things turned very sour again though after Myles accused Courtney of flirting with Towie newbie Jordan Wright.
He shocked viewers when he called her a "dirty dog" and a "slag" in an ugly street brawl before demanding to have space.
