Towie's Lydia Bright tells Myles Barnett to give up trying to get back Courtney Green
The couple broke up earlier in the current series of the ITVBe show and since then he has made attempts to get her back.
But The Only Way Is Essex legend Lydia, 28, says he should leave her alone as the damage has been done following his cheating.
She told talkRadio's Johnny Seifert: “I think for Myles the damage is really done. But he's obviously wanting to make amends with her, but I do think the damage is done and he should let her be.
“Courtney just needs to stay strong really. It's hard to watch and it's sad as well because everything she's said on the show about how she doesn't feel herself any more, I think us as viewers, we have seen that as well so it's quite sad.
“We want her to bright and bubbly and the character she used to be. So I'm hoping that's going to come. Give her time.”
The 5 Star Hotel star said she sympathised with Courtney over Myles’s cheating ways.
Lydia was on the receiving end of her fair share of heartbreak while on the Essex-based show with former boyfriend James ‘Arg’ Argent doing the dirty on her.
During a holiday with the Towie gang, the pair reunited for one night of passion following James' mission to win her back but it later came out he slept with current partner Gemma Collins on the same day.
Myles tried to reconcile things in Brighton when he apologised to Courtney after being accused of cheating, but she stuck to her guns, saying: "I'm so strong right now, this is like a whole new Courtney and it's going to be for the better."
Lydia said: “I hate watching this whole Courtney and Myles drama thing. It's quite sad watching all of that because I went through all of that.
“So when I see Courtney on TV, looking really sad and obviously you're going through a really tough time.
"You're having to share that with the world and when you're going through a hard time the majority of the time you want to run into your shell like a hermit crab and not come out.
“Watching that is really sad.”
