Vicky Pattison accused of breaking lockdown rules by travelling 300 miles from Essex to Newcastle for niece's birthday

VICKY Pattison has been accused of breaking lockdown rules by travelling 300 miles from Essex to Newcastle for her niece's birthday.

The former Geordie Shore star, 33, lives in Brentwood with boyfriend Ercan Ramadan but made the long journey to celebrate Mavie's first birthday.

Under the latest coronavirus lockdown restrictions in England, you can only leave home for limited, essential reasons.

You are allowed out of your house to buy essential food and medicine supplies, attend medical appointments and exercise with people within your household.

Brits can also go to work if it cannot be done from home, as well providing care for a vulnerable person and attending education if eligible.

The new rules also mean Brits cannot travel unless absolutely necessary – for example, for work purposes.

Vicky revealed she joined her sister Laura for Mavie's unicorn themed birthday when she wore a party hat and sat on an inflatable unicorn in photos on Instagram, she said: "Hungover as f**, sweating my t*ts off and have never felt more like a bag of a*s but Mavie is turning one and having a unicorn themed party.

"Oh how I love you pretty little girl… My heart could just burst!!! 😂🦄💜💕

In other snaps her little niece stood on the same carpet and the same wallpaper could be seen in the background.

According to Mail Online, Vicky's sister Laura also uploaded pictures from the day which included an image of the family together on Zoom.

The photos revealed Vicky used Zoom to log on, as a snapshot of a small child's face appeared in the corner of her laptop screen.

The Sun has contacted Vicky's representative for comment.

On January 10th Vicky revealed she secretly battled coronavirus over Christmas and was left bedridden as she slept for 16 hours a day.

The TV star's boyfriend Ercan also had the illness and both have now recovered.

At the time, she said: "After almost three weeks in bed sweating, shaking and whining going from being boiling hot one moment to freezing cold the next, experiencing all the advertised aches, pains and exhaustion, it feels lovely to be feeling slightly more like myself again."

She first revealed she had the bug when she commented on an Instagram post by coronavirus-stricken Peter Andre, who has also now recovered.

She said: "Me and Ercan have had it over Christmas and new year Pete and honestly mate, walloping about 16 hours a day sleep we were in the thick of it! 🥺🤦🏻‍♀️ Get well soon buddy x."
