Watch Star Wars mashed up with Arrested Development narrated by Ron Howard

May is a good month to be a fan of not only Star Wars (the Han Solo movie is out in a matter of weeks), but also Arrested Development (a ‘remixed’ version of season four hits Netflix on Friday, ahead of season five’s imminent release).

But if you just happen to be a fan of both of these Ron Howard projects, your month just got even better.

A new sketch from The Star Wars Show manages to combine the two series together, as Howard narrates the story of Star Wars: A New Hope just like he does on Arrested Development.

“Now the story of a family that wants to rule the galaxy, and the one son who had no choice but to save it,” he says.

Naturally, the Solo: A Star Wars Story director also fits in a plug for his upcoming movie.

Following the scene at the cantina on Mos Eisley when Han Solo asks: “You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? It’s the ship that made the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs,” Howard butts in: “Hey, that would make an interesting movie. Go see Solo: A Star Wars Movie, only in theatres May 25.”

Smooth, Ron. Smooth…

Howard of course stepped in to direct the Han Solo movie last year following the departures of Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released in cinemas on May 25 (just like Ron mentioned). The 22-episode Arrested Development Season 4 Remix: Fateful Consequences will premiere on Netflix on Friday (May 4).
