ITV show The Void is bringing some showbiz to Liverpool.

The show sees contestants endure a wide range of challenges, competing for a £25,000 prize.

The new ITV show is filmed at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool.

In fact, the premise of the show is that contestants have to get from one side of the arena to the other

The venue hosts live music, comedy performances and sporting events and is the city's leading entertainment venue.

It is hosted massive artists, such as Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Sir Paul McCartney, Queen and Stereophonics.

Who are The Void presenters?

ITV's show has two presenters: singer, rapper and presenter Fleur East and Dancing On Ice and Britain's Got Talent judge, Ashley Banjo.

The Diversity dancer said when speaking to The One Show: "I literally cannot wait to get started on this one.

"It's also the first game show I've been lucky enough to host and all alongside the amazing Fleur East, which is another thing I'm buzzing about."

The Hits Radio Breakfast Show host has also shared her excitement and added: "Getting to work alongside Ashley is amazing, he's so talented and it's going to be a lot of fun."

How much is The Void prize money?

Brought to viewers by Gameface TV, the same team behind successful show The Cube, The Void will put its contestants to the test.

Participants will be competing in a series of physical and mental challenges.

Their main obstacle, however, will be to avoid falling in to The Void, a tank filled with 520 tonnes of water, stretched across the arena floor.

The winner of the challenges will not only have bragging rights but will also have the chance to take on The Void one last time before going home with a £25,000 prize.

In order to win, contestants will take on a series of action-packed games against the clock or each other.

The goal being to make it across The Void without falling into the chasm.

How many episodes of The Void are there?

The Void is a seven-part series.

It airs weekly, every Saturday on ITV.

According to Virgin Media, the last episode of the new programme is scheduled for Saturday, August 21, 2021.
