Who is Bruce Willis' wife Emma Heming?

Born on June 18, 1978, Emma Heming works as both a model and actress.

Although birthed in Malta, Emma grew up between London and California.

At the age of 16, Emma won The Big Breakfast supermodel competition.

Since, she has worked with brands including Dior, Gap, John Frieda, and Garnier.

Emma has also landed a plethora of cover stories – Elle, Glamour, Town and Country, and Shape.

The model has walked runway shows for the likes of Chanel, Mugler, Valentino, and Victoria's Secret.

When did Emma Heming marry Bruce Willis?

On March 21, 2009, Emma Heming and Bruce Willis tied the knot in Turks and Caicos, an island on the Atlantic.

After returning to the United States, the couple wed legally.

Their first daughter, Mabel Ray Willis, was born in April of 2012.

Evelyn Penn Willis followed suit in May of 2014.

Emma is also the stepmother to Bruce's children with actress Demi Moore: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

What happened to Bruce Willis?

On March 30, 2022, the immediate family of Bruce Willis took to their respective Instagram accounts to announce that the actor is stepping down from his lengthy career amid a diagnosis of aphasia.

"To Bruce's amazing supporters, as a family we wanted to share that our beloved Bruce has been experiencing some health issues and has recently been diagnosed with aphasia, which is impacting his cognitive abilities," the captions read.

"As a result of this and with much consideration Bruce is stepping away from the career that has meant so much to him."

Each post continued: "This is a really challenging time for our family and we are so appreciative of your continued love, compassion and support," she continued.

Aphasia is a medical condition resulting in the inability to understand words and communicate clearly, and it typically occurs after a stroke or head injury.

On February 16, 2023, Bruce's eldest daughter Rumer Willis took to Instagram to announce her famous father's aphasia has since evolved into frontotemporal dementia.
