Who was involved in Coronation Street’s shock car smash and did anyone die?
But who got hurt and did anyone die? Here's everything you need to know about one of Corrie's most dramatic plot in years…
What happened in Coronation Street’s horror car crash?
After realising how dangerous psycho gangster Ronan Truman is, Michelle Connor – played by Kym Marsh – gather up her sons Ryan Connor and Ali Neeson and bundled them in her car, planning to pick up Robert Preston and disappear for a bit.
But Ronan wasn’t far behind and soon they were involved in a terrifying high- speed car chase as the gangster went after them to get revenge for Ryan’s involvement in his son Cormac’s death.
Everything went wrong for Michelle and her boys when the engine on her car cut out thanks to Tracy Barlow who tampered with it to get mechanic Abi Franklin in trouble after she thought she’d slept with Steve McDonald.
Ryan bravely stepped out of the car, telling Michelle he was the only one Ronan really wanted.
He tried to convince Ronan that Cormac’s death was an accident, but instead of listening, he revved his engine and drove into the DJ, knocking him to the ground.
Michelle and Ali dived out to help him while Ronan backed the car up, ready to hit Ryan again.
But Michelle defiantly stood in the middle of the road and told Ronan he’d need to get through her first. He then took a gun out of his glove compartment.
Was anyone killed?
Ronan – determined to get to Ryan – put his car in reverse again, not realising (or maybe not caring) that Leanne Battersby was behind him, having spotted the accident scene on the way back from Tracy and Steve’s wedding.
He backed over her, and then drove over her again, leaving her in a serious state.
Then Ronan lost control of his own car and slammed it into a tree. Will they all survive? The answer is not far away
