Car collector having 'mid-life' crisis sets sights on Tornado fighter
He said: “I saw it and I wanted it.
"My father used to take me to air shows when I was little.
“Buying a Tornado was childhood interest meets unmissable opportunity.”
The jet, without guns, missiles or engines, was used during the Bosnia conflict but has not been flown since the mid-90s.
Married company director Stephen, of Cilfrew, South Wales, is storing it at Swansea Airport.
He added: "There was no question of it flying again.
"I’d be a rubbish pilot anyway.”
