Cheeky toddler, 3, shocks mum by buying FARTS through Amazon Alexa

A BOY of three shocked his mum by buying farts through Amazon Alexa.

Cheeky Albert Hodges and sister Eleanor, six, asked the virtual assistant to pass wind.

After making a parp noise, Alexa asked if they wanted to buy a Christmas Farts Extension Pack.

Albert shouted “Yes!” — then mum Gemma noticed an email from the retail giant thanking her for the £1.99 buy. She said: “Albert looked very proud of his efforts and rolled around the floor with laughter. All the while, the Christmas fart sounds were being played.”

The pack offers premium parps including dragon and Beethoven-style farts.

NHS nurse Gemma, 31, added: “I panicked as to what else Albert could have purchased. Luckily, it was only £1.99 but it was a warning sign to turn this feature off. It could have been a much more expensive lesson.”

Gemma and husband Chris, 36, of Southampton, said it was Albert’s latest prank.

She added: “He’s our little joker and finds ways to hide his dad’s car keys or turn on the washing machine.”

Amazon stressed customers could turn off voice purchasing in the Alexa app.
