The last words of a crazed gunman who stormed a school before shooting 21 people have been revealed.
Salvador Ramos, 18, was shot dead at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, US, following the tragic deaths of 19 children.
Ramos barricaded himself inside the school and died during a shootout with border patrol officers.
Officials said all the victims were in the same fourth-grade classroom.
Now, it hs been revealed what the gun-toting teen said. Amerie Jo Garza was one of the schoolchildren killed in the massacre, and her grandmother Berlinda Irene Arreola told the Daily Beast the sick words Ramos uttered.
Arreola said: “So the gunman went in and he told the children ‘You’re going to die.’ And she had her phone and she called 911.
"And instead of grabbing it and breaking it or taking it from her, he shot her. She was sitting right next to her best friend. Her best friend was covered in her blood.”
it comes after police released eerie security footage which shows Ramos skulking around the school's perimeter with the weapon he used only seconds later to massacre kids aged 10-years-old.
What sounds like gunfire can be heard going off in the video, which was shared on social media by the authorities as parents were alerted to the deadly raid.
