China’s gay community cautiously welcomed the decision.

    A public outcry in China forced its most popular social media network to reverse a decision to ban online gay content.

    Sina Weibo, China’s equivalent of Twitter, caused a backlash when it blocked videos and comics related to homosexuality.

    The gay community is cautiously welcoming the development.
