Meghan embarrassed after accidentally letting slip her sweet pet name for Harry

It’s no secret that the Royal Family have some downright bizarre nicknames for each other.

In the public eye they answer to their very fancy titles, but behind closed doors they call one another random things like Sausage, Gary, Tungsten and Steve .

As well as their chosen nicknames, the couples also have sweet pet names for each other, with Kate and William often calling each other babe.

Most recently Meghan Markle’s cute pet name for her husband Prince Harry has been revealed – and the duchess was a little embarrassed about how everyone found out.

On Wednesday, August 29 the Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended a special gala performance of the hit musical Hamilton , at the Victoria Palace Theatre, in support of Prince Harry’s charity, Sentebale.

While at the show, they took a moment to pose with the cast for some photos.

And as they got into position Meghan, worried she was in the way, turned to Harry and asked "Can you see, my love."

Their exchange was captured on video and shows the cast overhearing her question and instantly gushing over the pair – much to Meghan’s blatant embarrasment.

A chorus of "awwws" erupts and Meghan says: "Oh!" before laughing bashfully.

The video was shared on Instagram by harry_meghan_updates and has been viewed over 60,000 times.

Many people took the time to comment on how lovely it was.
