The White House has been launched into disarray following Mr Trump’s presidential election loss to Democrat Joe Biden this month. While the president disputes the result, many observers are wondering what will become of the President and Ms Trump when Mr Biden presumably takes office.
Now, body language commentator Bruce Durham has analysed what the election result could mean for the relationship between Mr Trump and the First Lady.
He told the Irish Mirror: “For four years we have seen Donald leading their actions via his body language control behaviours… the tides could be changing.
“Melania has given us glimpses of when she wants to, she can become the alpha one in the relationship.
“It will be very interesting to see how losing the presidency will impact the power play of body language between the two moving forward.”
Mr Durham said the president appears to be “always leading” in recent photos, judging by his body language.
However, he said he had noticed a change in Ms Trump’s behaviour following the election poll results.

He observed that after the votes had come in and Mr Trump made a speech on stage, “it was Melania who walked off first”.
Mr Durham is not alone in making observations of the relationship between the President and the First Lady.
Earlier this year, a book published by Washington Post reporter Mary Jordan made revealed the First Lady had renegotiated the premarital agreement between herself and Mr Trump.

This allegedly took place in 2017, when Mr Trump was officially inaugurated into the White House having won his first term.
While the new president headed to his new home in the White House, Ms Trump and their son Barron famously stayed behind in New York for multiple months.
Her reluctance to immediately join her husband in the presidential home caused a wave of media speculation about the state of their relationship.
However, the First Lady claimed she stayed behind so that their son could continue his education uninterrupted.
Ms Jordan revealed Ms Trump used this time to “amend her financial arrangement with Trump”, the Washington Post said.
It added the First Lady was “using her delayed arrival to the White House as leverage for renegotiating her prenuptial agreement with President Trump”.
Ms Jordan herself wrote: “She wanted proof in writing that when it came to financial opportunities and inheritance, Barron would be treated as more of an equal to Trump’s oldest three children.”
It is unclear exactly how Ms Trump may have changed the agreement, though the author claimed the amendments “left her in a noticeably better financial position”.
Donald Trump’s presidency is due to end on January 20, when Mr Biden will presumably take office along with then-First Lady Jill Biden and presumptive Vice President Kamala Harris.
