PHOTOS: WWII Veteran celebrates 104th birthday – The Denver Post

Dr. Monica Kinnaman, a WWII Veteran of the British Army, celebrated her 104th birthday with fellow WWII veterans, family and supporters at the National Museum of World War II Aviation in Colorado Springs on Feb. 12, 2022. The celebration event included a presentation, question and answer session, meet and greet and of course birthday cake. Kinnaman served as an anti-aircraft Gunnar and range finder during the Battle of Britain. Kinnaman met her husband, an American who fought on Normandy beaches and moved to the United States and become an American citizen in the 1950s and got her PhD in Psychology. She is also an author of several books and stories, including some work that appeared in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series.
