Millions of people around the world were watching as Prince Harry married American actress Meghan Markle on May 19 2018 at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle.

After the happy couple said their I dos, Harry’s grandparents, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, waved them off as they embarked on a horse-led carriage procession.

But as they reached the top of the steps of the chapel after the Royal Wedding ceremony, the Queen gave Prince Philip some stern advice.

According to lip reader Terry Ruane, she told her husband to “keep waving.”

After this, Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland turned to Prince Charles, describing the service as “superb”.

Then Meghan and Harry set off on a tour of Windsor in an open-topped Ascot Laundau carriage.

Around 100,000 well-wishers were lining the streets of Windsor to cheer the newly-weds as they started their married life.

The couple waved and were in good spirits, and Meghan could be seen saying the word “wow” several times.

After waving at all the well-wishers hoping to catch a glimpse of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the carriage returned to Windsor Castle.

But just before, Harry apparently turned to Meghan to tell her: “I’m ready for a drink now”.

Here they arrived for a lunchtime reception in a separate section of Windsor Castle, hosted by the Queen.

Later in the evening Meghan and Harry attended a champagne reception at Frogmore House, hosted by Prince Charles.

Here they were joined by 250 of the 600 wedding guests for an epic party.
