Rapper Master P to pay for funeral of young Kentucky girl shot dead while playing in Frozen dollhouse

RAPPER Master P has vowed to pay for the funeral of a three-year-old girl who was shot while playing in her Frozen dollhouse.

The musician and businessman stepped up after hearing of Trinity Randolph’s tragic death alongside her 21-year-old father in Louisville, Kentucky .

Little Trinity and her dad, Brandon Waddles died of multiple gunshot wounds on Friday.

The girl’s grandfather, Tyronn Howlett, said Trinity was playing in her “Frozen” dollhouse at her home when she was shot, the Courier Journal reported.

Percy Miller, known as Master P, has made the pain of losing a child at least slightly less agonizing by covering the costs of the little girl’s funeral.

Having been active in the Louisville community for years, Master P pledged his financial contribution to the Randolph family as soon as he heard the news.

Master P, 50, told the Courier Journal: “This a 3-year-old innocent girl that’s gone from her family, from her future, somebody who could have come out of the community and be the next president, doctor, lawyer, teacher.“

”This is sad.”

A GoFundMe.com page set up by Tyasia Lashay, Trinity's aunt, says: “My beautiful niece, Trinity Neveah, was murdered at her grandmother's home, shot to death at only 3 years old."

“A fun loving energetic soul whose life was snatched along with her father's.”

So far, 98 criminal homicides have occurred in the Kentucky city, 17 of which were in August. This was not the first time Trinity’s family was rocked by a child-killing.

Tenisha Porter, one of the little girl’s aunts, said that her bond with Trinity helped her recover from the trauma of losing her 17-year-old nephew Cortez Randolph in an unsolved shooting.

Trinity, who relatives say dreamed of becoming a princess, was described as a “technology genius” by one aunt.

Jecorey Arthur, a Louisville Metro Councilman, was cousins with Trinity. In a Tweet about the incident, he vowed to take action in the wake of her death.

“RIP Trinity. I promise to change this city that has failed you,” Arthur said.

Trinity is survived by her mother, Tynekia Randolph, and her one-month old brother Tristian. Trinity’s grandfather Tyronn Howlett has expressed that Tynekia needs a great deal of support in the wake of the tragedy, according to WBTV.

“To see my daughter cry, can’t sleep, cry and cry all night screaming for her daughter and she has no business to feel that way,” Howlett said.

No suspects have been named in the killings.

“She was just 3 years old," Trinity's great-grandmother Valerie Randolph said.

"It takes a mean, cold, selfish-hearted person to take a little 3-year-old's life.”

Earlier this month, Master P also put his support behind the family of 14-year-old Compton basketball star Semaj Miller.

The teen was was shot and killed in South Los Angeles on July 29.

On August 7, Master P joined a community vigil and honored the teen.

Speaking at the vigil, the rapper said: “We gotta stop this senseless killing.”

“We gotta be able to protect the kids. Yesterday we were smiling, today we’re in Compton burying kids.”
