Strange items in Kate Middleton’s hospital bag as she goes into labour
Kate Middleton has arrived at hospital ready to give birth to her third child.
The Duke and Duchess made the journey to the Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital by car this morning after Kate went into labour.
And like all other expectant mums, she probably had her hospital bag with her.
Putting the bag together can be a bit stressful and lots of mums-to-be end up panicking they’ve forgotten something important.
But by baby number three, we expect Kate Middleton has probably got the hospital bag pretty much sorted by now.
And it turns out the Duchess packs a few rather unusual items in her bag. Well, her new baby will be fifth in line to the throne after all.
According to OK! Magazine , as well as all the normal items she also has three photo frames in her bag with pictures of her family, including her parents, her sister Pippa and brother James, in.
But more surprisingly, the third photo is of the Queen. Each to their own.
And that’s not the only reference to her grandmother-in-law she’ll have with her on the big day, as she’ll also have a pendant the Queen gave her.
Apparently Kate has had the pendant with her for all her births.
Perhaps a new addition for round three, her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte have given their mum some of their favourite toys to take with her for good luck. How cute is that?!
Kate has apparently also packed lots of candles and a calming music CD to get her through those difficult hours.
