Trump tweets all-caps campaign slogans, urges people to ‘VOTE!’
President Trump’s campaign has been grounded while he is being treated for coronavirus at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center but he still did some virtual stumping on Twitter Monday, posting all-caps campaign slogans and urging Americans to “VOTE!”
The president began releasing the series of tweets shortly before 7 a.m. and they ran the gamut of ballot issues that he believes will give him a second term.
They included: “BEST V.A. EVER. 91% APPROVAL RATING. VOTE!,” “401(K). VOTE!,” “BIGGEST TAX CUT EVER, AND ANOTHER ONE COMING. VOTE!,” “RELIGIOUS LIBERTY. VOTE!,” “LAW & ORDER. VOTE!,” “STRONGEST EVER MILITARY. VOTE!”
He also addressed “STOCK MARKET HIGHS. VOTE!,” “PRO-LIFE! VOTE!,” “SPACE FORCE. VOTE!,” “BETTER & CHEAPER HEALTHCARE. VOTE!,” and “PROTECT PREEXISTING CONDITIONS. VOTE!”
Trump added, “FIGHT THE CORRUPT NEWS MEDIA. VOTE!”
He continued: “PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH (BRING OUR SOLDIERS HOME). VOTE!,” and “SAVE OUR SECOND AMENDMENT. VOTE!”
The president also gave Americans a reason not to vote for Democrats.
“IF YOU WANT A MASSIVE TAX INCREASE, THE BIGGEST IN THE HISTORY OF OUR COUNTRY (AND ONE THAT WILL SHUT OUR ECONOMY AND JOBS DOWN), VOTE DEMOCRAT!!!,” he said in another post.
He added a quote by a supporter who appeared on “Fox & Friends.”
“‘I’m voting for Donald Trump. My father is a Union Worker and his 401K has tripled under President Trump.’ USA Voter. @foxandfriends Thank you, and remember that the Stock Market is getting ready to break its all time high. NEXT YEAR WILL BE THE BEST EVER. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!!!!,” he wrote.
Amid the avalanche of tweets, he also took a shot at Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam over gun control.
“Virginia Voters! Your Governor wants to obliterate your Second Amendment. I have stopped him. I am the only thing between you and your Second Amendment. Working hard in Virginia. It’s IN PLAY. Better Vote for your favorite President, or wave goodbye to low taxes and gun rights!,” Trump said.
