Twisted ‘balconing’ video game shows drunk tourist trying to jump from hotel

A warped video game where a drunk tourist tries to jump from a hotel balcony into a swimming pool was slammed yesterday.

The trailer for Balconing Simulator 2020 features a man in Union Jack shorts stumbling and bumping into furniture.

It then shows him plunging from the balcony to the pool, doing several flips in the air, but ends before he hits the water.

A number of Brits have died or suffered horrific injuries in Spain in recent years after falling from hotel ledges.

One person who watched the preview online said: “Honestly, this game is a bit weird.”

Gamer Alberto wrote on Twitter: “This is so getting banned in Spain.” And another viewer branded it “trash”.

Holidaymakers who have died this year include Lucas Briscoe, 12, from Cheshire, who fell from the balcony of an apartment block on the Costa del Sol in August.

The game is scheduled to be launched online next month.
