Haven’t tried Beauty Pie yet? 8 beauty editor-approved products to buy first
The best Beauty Pie bits to treat yourself to immediately, according to a beauty editor.
If you haven’t heard of Beauty Pie, where have you been? The members-only club was the first of its kind when it launched in 2017 – and it’s still unrivalled today.
The premise is pretty simple: every month you pay a subscription fee that gives you access to luxury products at factory prices. The products are all selected and tested by founder Marcia Kilgore (who’s also the brains behind brands like Soap & Glory, Bliss Spa and FitFlop), and made at factories around the world that are also handpicked by Kilgore.

Beauty Pie cuts out the middleman, and by stripping out the markup prices typically applied to beauty products (which the brand says can be up to 10 times the finished manufacturing costs), it can pass those savings onto members. It sounds too good to be true, but it’s really not: the products, all of which have incredible reviews, are truly brilliant.
But with so much choice, it’s hard to know what to buy first. Below, contributing beauty editor Lucy Partington chooses her favourite bits that are worth adding to your basket.

-
Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm
I’d suggest making this the very first product you buy – it’s the most perfect balm cleanser that melts away even the hardiest of waterproof mascara. It doesn’t leave any sort of film or greasy residue, and instead leaves skin feeling nourished and ready for a second cleanse.

Wondercolour Nail Polish in Le Milk
You know sometimes when you just want your nails to look healthy and shiny? That’s exactly what this polish does. It’s a super pale, barely-there shade of pink that can be built up if you want it to be more opaque, and I usually get a good week’s wear without chipping.

Clean House Luxury Scented Candle
Every time I light this candle I get compliments, it really is the smell of freshly washed bedding and I’m obsessed with it. It burns nice and evenly (very important!) and the scent lingers more impressively than some of its high-end counterparts.

Triple Beauty Luminizing Wand
I never get more compliments on my highlighter than when I wear this: the perfect shade of champagne, it illuminates skin without being glittery and sheens perfectly in the light. Plus, my tube has lasted me longer I should probably admit – a must-have.

Superdose C C-Suite Rapid Action Power Brightener
If you want a vitamin C serum that’s lightweight and not oily, look no further. One of my all-time favourite antioxidants, it’s not sticky or greasy – instead, it absorbs into skin like a dream and layers perfectly underneath sunscreen to create the easiest morning routine in existence.

Super Healthy Skin Gentle Foamy Facial Wash
I adore this cleanser for two reasons. The first is because this hefty bottle (390ml!) lasts for ages, and the second is because – even though it’s foaming – it doesn’t strip skin or dry it out. Instead, it’s refreshing and hydrating and over time works to refine skin.

Soul Providers Energizing Body Wash
If you want every shower to transport you to the Amalfi Coast, buy this. The citrussy notes of orange, lemon and grapefruit are so bright and joy-inducing that it’ll immediately perk you up even when you didn’t know you needed perking up.

Triple Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Plump Dewy Skin Mist
I’m in the minority, I know, but there’s not much I enjoy more than a post-cleanse spritz – and this mist is up there with my favourites. Packed with hyaluronic acid and ceramides, it hydrates and soothes skin.
