Alex Scott put on a colourful display as the football pundit donned an eye-catching outfit as she commented on the World Cup match between Croatia and Brazil on Friday. The BBC broadcaster was joined by Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Roy Keane as they discussed the recent quarter-final.
But it was the 38-year-old’s bright attire that got fans talking on social media.
The former Arsenal star rocked a bright orange shirt which she teamed with a pink blazer and matching trousers.
Alex styled her long black tresses in loose waves as she delivered her verdict on the match.
BBC viewers were somewhat distracted by Alex’s appearance as they took to Twitter and reacted to her attire.
Gary tweeted: “@AlexScott is absolute class.”
Selina commented: “Alex Scott is trending and I hope it’s cos of how class she looked in her outfit and how she was the only pundit to see the tenacious ability that Croatia have.”(sic)
Grant shared: “@AlexScott you were brilliant as per today among the guys but you looked sensational, that suit and shirt you were knock out.”
However, others compared Alex’s attire to a popular sweet treat.
Emma cheekily remarked: “@AlexScott Looking like a beautiful fruit salad, absolutely loved the outfit today.”
Sohaib chimed: “Alex Scott dressed as a fruit salad.”
Ryan added: “Alex Scott out there dressed like a Fruit Salad.”
Earlier in the day, Alex took to Instagram Stories where she gave her followers a glimpse of her attire before giving her punditry before the game.
“Quarter-final time. Big Meeks,” she chuckled referring to her co-star Micah. “There he is in the background. His shirt is ironed. We’re outside the stadium. Brazil take on Croatia. Here we go.”
Following the game, the BBC pundit put her feet up and enjoyed a glass of wine.
She captioned the post: “Needed this.”
