All the signs Kate Ferdinand was pregnant as she announces baby number two
Kate Ferdinand took to Instagaram earlier today to announce the exciting news that she is expecting her second child with husband Rio Ferdinand.
The former TOWIE star's announcement came as something of a shock to fans as Kate had kept her blossoming baby bump under wraps, despite sharing a number of photos to her page during the festive season.
Announcing her pregnancy, Kate shared a sweet video clip as she unveiled her baby bump, which she captioned: "We’ve been praying for you …"
Kate looked glowing as she wore a black dress and boots paired with a coat. The music Lovin' You by Minnie Riperton played over the video.
Despite having shared numerous photos over the festive period, Kate managed to keep her bump hidden from fans, using a number of different photography tactics to stop the news coming out before she was ready.
One Christmas snap sees Kate posing with her ex-footballer husband as she keeps her arm strategically placed in front of her jumper. The same photo sees her donning a white blazer that is kept open, also helping to hide her bump.
To keep rumours at bay, Kate even held a glass of what looks to be prosecco in the snap, perhaps throwing fans even further off scent.
Despite this, one eagle-eyed fan still suggested the TV star may be pregnant, commenting: "I’m getting pregnancy vibes from this post my 6th sense working early today lol."
Another festive snap saw Kate pose while son Cree sat her knee hugging his mother. Cree's placement meant that his mother's bump was once again successfully kept hidden in the photo.
And a third photo saw Kate simply cover her stomach with her arm while sporting an oversized coat as she smiled at the camera.
Following Kate's pregnancy announcement, Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague, actress Michelle Keegan and former TOWIE regular Billie Shepherd led a chorus of celebs and fans in congratulating the happy couple.
Commenting beneath Kate's post, Molly said: "Congratulations Kate." Meanwhile, Billie wrote: "Huge congratulations darling."
Michelle added, "Congratulations darling." Mrs Hinch also shared her well-wishes to Kate, writing: "Congratulations how amazing xxxx."
Last year Kate opened up about how she had suffered a devastating miscarriage and had to have surgery following her 12 week scan.
At the time she posted a black and white image of herself in a hospital gown to Instagram.
She wrote: "The last time I was in this hospital I was having Cree, but this time it was because our baby had no heartbeat in our 12 week scan and I had to have surgery," followed by a heartbroken emoji.
