Amanda Owen says shes plodding on after first Valentines Day without ex Clive
Our Yorkshire Farm's Amanda Owen, aka the Yorkshire Shepherdess, has shared a cryptic post about "plodding on" after spending her first Valentine's Day without ex-husband, Clive Owen.
The 48 year old, who announced her split from Clive, 67, in June 2022 after 22 years of marriage, took to Instagram the day after Valentine's Day to share a number of snaps from her day out riding horses with one of her youngest children.
It looked like an idyllic day out in the Yorkshire countryside, with fields of heather, streams and blue skies seen in the images.
Amanda captioned the snap: "Got to keep plodding on #yorkshire #horsepower #riding #horses."
Her fans were quick to comment on the post, as one wrote: "Absolutely love seeing the beautiful scenery you let us see & your super family x," whilst another wrote: "Beautiful horses and family xx."
One fan lamented how much they missed the Owen family's hit Channel 5 show, Our Yorkshire Farm, the cancellation of which was officially announced in November 2022, following Amanda and Clive's split.
It followed the lives of Amanda, Clive, and their nine children, ranging in age from 21 year old Raven Owen, to four year old Nancy Owen, as they tackle life on their remote Yorkshire farm, with everyone pitching in to help.
The person wrote: "When are we going to see you as a family again in another series? The nation miss you all so much. I’ve just watched an episode done in lockdown from two year’s ago in all the snow and saw how hard it was for you as hill farmers in such bad weather. We so miss all of your children growing up and their love of their farming lives."
Although Our Yorkshire Farm is no longer in production, lovers of the show can indulge in its spin-off show, which focuses on the Owen's eldest son Reuben, 19, and Amanda's ex husband Clive, called Beyond The Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive.
After much speculation surrounding their relationship, Amanda and Clive announced their split in June 2022, via an official statement posted to Amanda's Instagram.
It read: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.
"This hasn’t been easy, but we both believe it’s the right choice for the future of our family.
"Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our number one priority the happiness and well-being of our children."
Despite their split, Amanda and Clive recently put on a united front as they joined together to support their 21 year old daughter, Raven, after she graduated from York St John's University, after studying biomedical science and achieving an award mark of 72.67 percent.
Proud mum Amanda shared plenty of snaps to Instagram of the happy day, as she wrote: "A first class week for Raven. What an incredible achievement. So proud to see her graduate at the glorious @york_minster_official@yorkstjohn No amount of rain could dampen our spirits."
