Amy Childs says shes in a baby bubble after arrival of beautiful twins
Amy Childs has revealed she's in a "baby bubble" after welcoming twins with her boyfriend Billy Delbosq on 6 April.
The Only Way Is Essex star Amy, 32, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to issue an update to fans as she and Billy, 40, settle into life as a family-of-six with Amy's two eldest children, Polly, five, and Ritchie, four.
"Hi everyone. Feel like I've not been on here for ages," Amy began by telling her fans. "We are just in a little bubble aren't we?"
Proud dad Billy agreed, saying: "Yeah, I feel like we're just in a baby bubble. We've definitely hit the jackpot. Honestly, the most beautiful, adorable little babies."
Amy and Billy's newborn babies could be heard waking up in the background as they spoke to their fans, with the pair promising they will share details about the twins' birth, which Billy described as "traumatic", soon.
The couple's update comes after they shared the first photos of their twins on Instagram and introduced them to the world.
Captioning the post, mum-of-four Amy gushed: "Welcome to the world our beautiful little twins, Born 06/04/23 7.04pm twin 1, 7.05pm twin 2.
"Mummy and Daddy love you so so much.. We’ve been in a complete baby bubble the past few days.. Our family is now finally complete.."
She added: "@billydelbosq8 you have been incredible the last few days .. I love you so much .." she finished the sweet post with a duo of heart emojis, one blue and one pink.
Prior to her twins' arrival, Amy revealed that she won't be taking maternity leave.
“I’ll be filming in the weeks following the babies’ birth and I think it will be lovely for people to see me being a mum because, yes you see me on TOWIE and on Instagram, but having the twins and being around them is going to be tough as I'll have four kids,” she wrote in her OK! column in March.
“I love big families though, and I'm feeling really lucky and happy.”
Amy went on: “I’ll be having the camera crew there at night time because the babies will be up most of the night at first, and they’re capturing everything. Billy and I will be able to look back at the show and think, ‘Look what we did’.
“Yes it’s going to be tough, but like I’ve said before, I’m a hard worker and always have been. I don’t know any differently.”
