Anna Shay’s Bling Empire co-star Leah Qin has revealed that the billionaire heiress ‘had a lot of struggles’ behind-the-scenes as she opened up about how the cast of the hit Netflix series is dealing with the ‘shocking’ news of the 62-year-old’s death.

The reality star passed away unexpectedly from a stroke aged 62, her family revealed in a statement to People on Monday morning. 

And co-star Qin, who appeared in the second series of the show, has since spoken exclusively to DailyMail.com to express her ‘regret’ that she ‘did not help Anna with her happiness and health.’

She added that Anna had been ‘struggling’ and claimed that ‘people put a lot of stress on her.’

Qin told DailyMail.com: ‘Anna passing made me realize that your health and your happiness are the most important things ever. 

‘It is heart-breaking for the friends and family, but everyone is responsible for their own life.

‘I could tell she was a genius lady. She told me all the time “you only live once.” She told me that she knows I have a good heart. 

‘She’s been through things. I always wanted to help her to be happier, but unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance.

‘I did notice that her mood was unstable. She had her good times and had her moody times, but I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault. She has just been through things.

‘I found out when I woke up a few friends sent me a text message. Guy [Tang] was the first one who told me. I think everybody in the cast is quite shocked. I am just really in shock.’

She continued: ‘I think that Bling needed to showcase the struggle too. The small drama that she was involved in. She was a caring lady who cared about others. 

‘But she was struggling herself and had her own stuff to deal with.

‘She does care about other people. I feel bad for her. I hope it was not a lot of pain. It is unfortunate. 

‘You can have all the money other people want in the world, but real wealth is health.

‘One thing I really regret is that I did not help Anna with her happiness and health. 

‘When you are a position of people looking up and you are at the top, it is lonely. Everyone expects a lot of you and there is a lot on your shoulders.

‘I think people automatically assume because you are on TV, you are fine. Sometimes you just want a hug. Anna was a beautiful person.
