Billy Idol and China Chow kiss at Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

Still rocking in the Cradle Of Love! Billy Idol, 67, plants sweet smooch on girlfriend China Chow, 48, as he is honored with star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

 Billy Idol enjoyed a sweet smooch with longtime girlfriend China Chow as he was finally honored with a star on the iconic Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

The 67-year-old legendary rocker and 48-year-old British-born American actress and model put on an amorous display at the ceremony which took place on Friday.

Billy’s rocker style was in full force  as he sported all black including leather jacket, button down top, trousers, and leather shoes.

He made sure to showcase his edginess as his outfit featured chains hanging from the collar of his shirt, and another one on the side of his trousers and if that wasn’t already enough there were spikes on his shoes.

The Cradle Of Love  hitmaker – full name William Michael Albert Broad – accessorized with multiple rings and earrings as he also sported his signature spikey blonde hair.

China looked stunning in a black patterned tie-up top which resembled a kimono along with flowy trousers and black patent leather shoes.

Her long brunette tresses were worn down in a middle-part as she showcased her natural looks with complementary make-up on her face.  

China – who was previously romantically linked to Keanu Reeves – has been in a relationship with the rocker since February 2018. 

Billy was also joined by his children Willem Broad, 34, and Bonnie Broad, 33.

Perhaps most adorably was that his daughter brought along her little girls Poppy and Mary Jane who seemed to have a blast at the event.

Poppy even stole the show as she posed for snaps on the red carpet. 

The event was also attended by fellow punk singer and Black Flag frontman Henry Rollins as well as artist and Obey clothing founder Shepard Fairey.

Idol was emotionally thanked his fans at the event as he said at the podium: ‘You are the best. Quite simply, I’m here today because of you, because of your love.

‘You supported me all this time. Forty-seven years now I’ve been doing this.’

Billy first achieved fame in the 1970s as he made his name in the London punk rock scene – led by bands like the Sex Pistols – as the lead singer of the band Generation X. 

He later embarked on a solo career in 1981 after moving to New York City and worked with guitarist Steve Stevens as he quickly earned fame via music videos of singles Dancing With Myself and White Wedding.

In 1983, he really hit it big with his second studio album titled Rebel Yell through the titular single and Eyes Without A Face as the record went double platinum.

In the spirit: Henry had a heartfelt speech with support from Billy

He reflected on his career during his speech as he explained: ‘It really is crazy to find myself getting an award like this, or being honored in this way.

‘I mean, 47 years of doing this after I started in Generation X, and 35 years after coming here, I just really could never have imagined anything like this. Initially we did the music back in the mid-’70s during the punk-rock time. There wasn’t much hope or anything. We decided if there’s nothing, there’s no future, we’re going to do what we love. And that’s what I did. I did the music because I loved it. It wasn’t for any other reason really. 

‘Anyway, I didn’t really think doing this would last very long. We thought maybe six months, maybe a year, maybe two years. I could never have imagined something like this. It’s just incredible.’

Dynamic duo: The widow of Johnny Ramone was joined by singer-songwriter J.D. King

The rock legend’s star counts as star number 2,743 as it was placed on the famous sidewalk.

The coveted honor will be granted to Billy in the category of Recording, continuing the practice of entertainment recognition that began in 1960.

In anticipation of the forthcoming event, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Ana Martinez, said, ‘There will be lots of rebels yelling for their favorite rock star Billy Idol when he receives his well-deserved Walk of Fame star on January 5.

‘Since the beginning of his career Billy Idol has held the hearts of many of his fans who finally will be able to visit his star and witness his induction into the Walk of Fame.’

Before the event, Idol made sure to alert his fans of the imminent ceremony as he took to social media last week.

He shared a flyer featuring his image and a Hollywood Walk of Fame logo and wrote a caption filling supporters in about details.

‘Join me in Los Angeles this Thursday January 5th at 11:30am PT when I am honored with a star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame!’ he wrote.

‘If you can’t make it on Thursday you can watch the ceremony live stream at walkoffame.com,’ he added before signing off, ‘Hope to see you there! -BFI.’
