Britney Spears bodyguard concerned for star after claim her husband wants fame
Britney Spears redesigning her house with husband
Britney Spears’ former bodyguard Fernando Flores has claimed he has doubts the pop sensation’s husband Sam Asghari might provide some stability for her.
His comments come after recent reports that the singer’s family were concerned about Britney amid claims of substance abuse which she has vehemently denied.
The Toxic singer’s former bodyguard has said in a new interview he does not believe the singer should have cut her dad off following the end of her conservatorship in 2021.
The following year, Britney, 41, married her long-term partner Sam, 29.
“Since she met Sam, some of her most loyal bodyguards have been let go,” he told OK! magazine.
“Her dad has also been cut off and although the conservatorship was not perfect, I never doubted the love he had for his daughter.”
In 2008, Britney was placed under a 13-year conservatorship arrangement with her father that an LA judge would later describe as “abusive” and subsequently ended in 2021.
Fernando claimed Sam should be “bending over backward” for Britney and help heal the public rift with members of her family.
He also claimed his former boss appears to have “surrounded herself with people that don’t have her best interests at heart”.

He added: “In my opinion [Sam] seems more obsessed with becoming a film star and looking after himself.”
In 2011 Britney’s bodyguard Fernando filed a lawsuit against the singer when he accused the star of being “unkempt.”
“She did not bathe for days on end, did not use deodorant, did not brush her teeth, did not fix her hair, did not wear shoes or socks,” Fernando claimed in an amended complaint seen by Radar Online.
Britney has since taken to Instagram and addressed reports her ex-husband Kevin had staged a “failed intervention” to try and help his ex-wife due to alleged drug abuse.
“The fact that people are claiming things that are not true is so sad,” she wrote, adding that she hoped Kevin and their son Preston, hadn’t said such things about her.
Britney added: “It breaks my heart and the news is so low…I’ve always felt like the news bullies me….
“It’s sad because everyone sits back as if that’s ok to make up lies to that extent…Why am I told I have to sit back and rise above???”
Kevin also posted a statement on Instagram, writing that it saddened his family that outlets “decided to fabricate lies and publish the heartache our family has endured, along with the trauma of our minor children”.
He added that the reporters had been allowed “into our home because we trusted them, but that trust was lost and we severed ties back in March for many reasons”.
