Charlotte Crosby reveals she still has botox all the time but wont get lip filler again
Charlotte Crosby was praised by fans for being open about removing her lip filler after she wasn't happy with the swelling as a result.
And now, speaking to OK!, the new mum of one reveals she wouldn't get any more lip filler going forward – but understands what cosmetic surgery can do to help boost someone's confidence.
"I would never get any more. I mean, I still have Botox all the time. Lip filler is something I haven’t had for two years pre-pregnancy," the 32 year old shared.
"My lips swelled and I wasn’t happy with how they looked. But I’m not going to sit here and be totally against it because it can help people, it can boost their confidence."
Charlotte previously spoke of how her lips changed while she was expecting her daughter on the Nova podcast: "I absolutely love my lips – but it got to a point after pregnancy, when they had swelled a lot.
"Like in pregnancy you have a lot of water retention.”
The reality star also said that after watching herself back on the Geordie Shore reunion, it resulted in her reassessing her fillers.
Charlotte is now a new mum after welcoming her first child Alba with her boyfriend Jake Ankers.
And weeks after giving birth, the former Geordie Shore legend spoke about how she would feel if her daughter wanted to have work done when she was older.
"Having my nose job was the best thing I ever did, I don’t regret it," said Charlotte. "Say my little girl has wonky teeth, I’m going to get her a fixed brace."
She explained: "That’s enhancing her features. It’s exactly the same as having my nose done, it’s just fixing something that’s not right."
Charlotte went on to say that if Alba had an insecurity, then she would want to help her.
"If my daughter comes to me and there’s something she’s insecure about, if it’s something that doesn’t need work at all then of course I won’t let her, but if she’s really insecure and I can see it’s affecting her, then of course I’m going to help her," she added.
And thinking about her future with Jake and Alba, the TV star even said she is hoping for a ring on her finger very soon and is already thinking about another baby.
Charlotte revealed she now has "the baby bug" as she embraces motherhood with her boyfriend – who she hopes will be her husband sooner rather than later.
"Oh, of course, 100%, we’ll definitely get married. I’m hoping he’ll propose this year but he says it’ll be next year," she shared.
"But I think he’s just saying that to throw me off the scent! He already knows the ring design and my finger size, he just needs to ask the question!"
Charlotte In Sunderland launches on 1 February at 10pm on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer
