Christine McGuinness welcomes Amy Childs to twin mummy club as celebs congratulate her

After OK! exclusively announced that TOWIE icon Amy Childs is expecting not one, but two babies with partner Billy Delbosq, the Essex lovebirds have been recipients to a mass of congratulatory messages from friends, family and fellow celebs.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, Amy, 32 – who is 15 weeks pregnant – shared a snap of her and businessman boyfriend Billy, 39, cradling their baby bump, captioning the picture: "THE NEWS IS FINALLY OUT. When 4 become 6. We're both over the moon to announce that we're having.. 'NOT 1… BUT 2'… WE'RE HAVING TWINS!! Our family is so complete and we're so excited for the next chapter."

Amongst those taking to the photograph's comment section to send their well wishes is model and former RHOC star Christine McGuinness, who wrote: "Congratulations beautiful this is gorgeous news, I'm so happy for both of you. #TwinMummyClub".

Christine – who shares twins Leo and Penelope, eight, as well as youngest Felicity, six, with estranged husband Paddy McGuinness – was also joined by the likes of ex-TOWIE regulars, former Love Islanders and many more stars in celebrating Amy's news.

Amy's fellow TOWIE alum Lauren Goodger commented: "OMG congratulations wow so happy for you both! Twins!! How beautiful xx".

Her beloved cousin and on-screen co-star Harry Derbridge also added: "Yay it's finally out – can't wait!!!! Twinssss".

Essex stars Carol Wright and Ferne McCann later wished the parents-of-twins-to-be all their love, with Carol commenting: "Congratulations amazing news", and Ferne seconding that, adding: "Omg wowwww congratulations darling".

Ex-Islander Chloe Crowhurst added: "Omg Amy, this is so amazing! Congratulations", whilst her fellow dating show star Shaughna Phillips – who earlier this month announced her own pregnancy – wrote: "Oh my god! Congratulations beautiful girl! Such incredible news".

Models and former Big Brother stars Imogen Thomas and Chantelle Houghton also joined in with the celebrations, with Imogen commenting: "Wow congrats my lovely how exciting", and Chantelle adding: "OMG Congratulations!".

Danielle Lloyd also wrote: "Congratulations hunny" on the sweet snap, whilst TV personality and mum-of-one Charlotte Dawson added: "Sooooo happy for you my beautiful girlie – twins yay amazing".

“I’m still in shock,” Amy told us during our exclusive pregnancy shoot. “I promise you now, I didn’t want any more children. When I met Bill I thought, ‘Do you know what, I’ll have one more.’ We are so excited – it’s going to be absolutely amazing.”

The babies will have siblings in Amy’s other kids – Polly, five, from her relationship with Bradley Wright, and four-year-old Ritchie who is named after his father and Amy’s ex, Ritchie.

But this will be one big blended family as Billy gushes over his relationship with his stepchildren – and Amy says there’s even been talk of him adopting her eldest child.

“I love them to bits,” Billy also told us.
