Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper expecting second child with girlfriend
Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has announced he’s expecting his second child with long-term girlfriend Taya.
The 24 year old is famous for getting Jeremy Clarkson out of trouble on the Amazon Prime show and has become a breakout star of the series.
As if Kaleb didn’t have enough on his hands, the farm manager also has a toddler at home – 20 month old son Oscar, whom he shares with his partner.
Kaleb announced the exciting baby news on his Instagram, as he, Taya and Oscar smiled as they stood in front of a tractor, while holding up a baby scan.
The delighted TV star wrote: "So excited to announce that baby cooper number 2 is cooking nicely.
"My number one goal is to buy myself a farm and be able to bring my kids up enjoying what I think is the best lifestyle which is the farming lifestyle."
Talking to The Sun about his growing family, Kaleb joked: “I have plenty of experience with kids having to put up with Jeremy every day!”
He added: “I have always wanted to be a younger dad… Oscar is already better at farming than Jeremy, I'm sure of it!”
Kaleb told the publication that he didn’t know whether he was excited or nervous and revealed that he and partner Taya waited until her 12 week scan before telling friends and family about the wonderful news.
Though Kaleb has found plenty of success helping the former Top Gear host, Kaleb still dreams of having his own farm where he can raise his young family.
However for the time being, Kaleb remains at Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire.
The young farmer found fame during the first series of Clarkson’s farm, and audiences delighted in the pair’s hilarious antics as amateur farmer Jeremy got to grips with life in the country.
Thankfully, Kaleb was more than qualified for the task as he’d completed an apprenticeship on a local cow farm after leaving school at 16.
It meant that he never felt intimidated by The Grand Tour host as Kaleb had extensive knowledge of farming.
Kaleb also gave as good as he got, regularly hurling insults back at Jeremy who called him a “rural halfwit” in one episode.
He did admit that he does get frustrated with the presenter at times, but beneath it all the pair share a genuine friendship which has only grown over time.
The young farmer said: “We just laugh all the time, our banter and sense of humour are very much the same. He's a great chap.”
Having farmed for the majority of his life, it seems Kaleb has been reconsidering his career path after finding fame on the show.
Kaleb has amassed over a million fans on Instagram and many have wondered whether the farmer will have his own TV career.
Whilst he isn’t leaving the industry yet, Kaleb did admit that he would consider going on the next series of I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!
