Creepy Group SUPPORTING Idaho Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger Banned From Reddit – But There Are More!
Well, this is upsetting. We imagine most everyone following the case of the University of Idaho murders is on roughly the same page right now. The evidence we’ve seen against Bryan Kohberger is overwhelming, and any delays in the trial are just delaying the inevitable — justice for the victims, Maddie Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin.
We mean… right? Isn’t that where YOU land?
Well, apparently there’s multiple contingents out there who have ended up in a very different place. One such group is just plain creepy. A subreddit group called Bryanation was posting such worrying stuff about their accused killer namesake that they were BANNED from Reddit! According to DailyMail.com, the channel hosted discussions with topics like “I find Bryan hot but don’t want to! Ideas?” and “What was it about Bryan that got your liking?” Ick.
Thankfully if you try to access the page now, all you see is the ban hammer — along with the proclamation:
“This community was banned for repeatedly violating Reddit’s Moderator Code of Conduct.”
What was that about? They don’t say, but worshipping an accused spree killer is disturbing enough. And unfortunately they aren’t the only ones pining after this guy…
We’d love to be able to point to a culprit like Netflix, to say this is what happens when you cast hotties like Evan Peters and Zac Efron as serial killers. But the truth is, these maladjusted groupies pining after killers because they’re killers have been around a long time.
Elsewhere on the internet, there are also folks who inexplicably have decided Kohberger is innocent. Not innocent until proven guilty, we mean they believe he deserves to go free, based on what we know right now. Yeah. The largest of these, called Justice for Bryan Kohberger, boasts a truly upsetting 12.4 THOUSAND members as of this writing. Another group has over 3k. What could all these people be thinking??
Apparently they’re on the same wavelength as Bryan himself, who has reportedly been telling people he believes he’ll be “exonerated” by the time all this is over. Look, we’re neither lawyers nor fortune tellers, but we’d bet all our money this man is going to prison for a long, long time. One needs just to look at the evidence — his DNA on the scene — on a knife sheath btw, his phone location, having photos of the victims, footage of his car at the scene, an eyewitness… and that’s just what we know so far! Who knows what else will be revealed? “Justice for Bryan Kohberger” very likely will end up meaning life imprisonment.
What do YOU think of these groups??
